One Piece: This mysterious figure is an ally of the Revolutionary Army?

Dracule Mihawk is the strongest swordsman in the current One Piece world and is a very important legendary figure in the series. However, even so until now there is still not much information about Mihawk shared with fans. So, just like other characters, Mihawk becomes one of the mysterious characters.

Like other mysterious characters, the figure of Mihawk very rarely appears in the story. So far, Mihawk's appearance in the story can probably be counted on the fingers. Some of Mihawk's epic appearances are when he first met Zoro in the Baratie arc, and also during the big war at Marineford where he joined the navy.

Information about Mihawk can also be found in the SBS Volume 63 column, where Eiichiro Oda describes the Shichibukai when they were little. Mihawk is described as full of wounds that are thought to be from training. About nine years ago, a great war broke out on Kuraigana Island which left the island destroyed and abandoned by its inhabitants.

Several years after the war, Mihawk then arrived on the island and made the castle on the island his home. Again, we don't know the reason why Mihawk chose Kuraigana. Whether Kuraigana is his childhood home, or indeed Kuraigana has connections to Mihawk's past or family.

What's interesting is that long before the pirate era was in its golden moment, Mihawk himself was already very famous everywhere. Dracule Mihawk is known to often challenge enemies much stronger than him to fight, and in the end manages to defeat them. That was the reason why Mihawk earned the nickname of the strongest swordsman in the world.

Mihawk is then attracted to Shanks and sees him as his greatest rival. As the best swordsman in the world, of course, many are curious as to why in the end he wanted to train Zoro during the time-skip. Many fans themselves speculate about this. One interesting speculation is that Mihawk is ruled by Dragon. In his speculation mentioned that Mihawk may be part of the Revolutionary Army group.

Until recently, many people doubted that Mihawk was a pirate. This is because there is no indication whatsoever that Mihawk is a pirate. For example, he prefers to be alone than having a crew like other pirates. Mihawk joining the Shichibukai group – before it was disbanded – is also a mystery.

Why does the World Government want Mihawk? Why did Mihawk agree to join the Shichibukai? Another speculation arose, which could be a way for him to stop the World Government from pursuing him. If he wasn't a pirate, why was he then being hunted by the World Government?

Maybe it's not the World Government that is after Mihawk's life, but just like Zoro, it's Mihawk who challenges the Government. Why should you join the Shichibukai? That raises the possibility that Mihawk is part of the Revolutionary Army.

When the Straw Hats were really about to be destroyed by Kizaru at Sabaody, an unexpected figure appeared, namely Bartholomew Kuma. Using the ability of the Nikyu Nikyu no Mi, he sends the members of the Straw Hats to various locations. However, the location is not arbitrary. Kuma flew them to a location where they could train and improve their abilities.

This seems to have been done deliberately to prepare for the situation in the New World. Kuma himself seemed to be able to see the great ability of the Straw Hats. He sent Luffy to Amazon Lilly to practice Haki - though this didn't happen as Luffy rushed to Marineford.

Mihawk is a Secret Revolutionary? - One Piece Sanji is sent to the Kamabakka kingdom where Ivankov is. Robin is sent to Tequilla Wolf where he meets Dragon and gets a lot of important information. Zoro himself was sent to the island of Kuraigana. What's interesting is that Mihawk doesn't seem surprised to see Zoro on his island. Even though Mihawk sometimes shows an indifferent attitude, at least Mihawk asks how he got to the island.

Mihawk seemed to know that Zoro would be sent there. In fact, Mihawk tried to stop Zoro from leaving his island due to the wounds on Zoro's body. In conclusion, Mihawk may have long been given the task of training Zoro by Dragon. Kuma and Mihawk's actions seemed to have been coordinated beforehand, just as Kuma had told Rayleigh that he was connected to the Revolutionary Army. Will Oda Sensei reveal the real facts about Mihawk in the future?
