Is this the reason Boruto becomes a future villain?

Will Boruto turn into an evil shinobi? Will Boruto really turn into a villain? Maybe that's the question that many fans think about after what happened in chapter 53 yesterday. No one ever thought that Boruto would do something so insane, like stabbing Sasuke's left eye.

Seeing this, many fans then wondered who was the real villain in the Boruto: Naruto Next Generation series? Is Kawaki the villain, as has been shown so far? We still don't know what will happen in the future, but for the question of whether Boruto will become a villain in the future the answer is yes.

Will Boruto then run away from Konoha – just like Sasuke and Itachi – and become an evil ninja? Although the possibility is small but it might happen. It could be, Boruto will feel guilty for what he has done before and then he decides to choose to leave Konoha, as Itachi once experienced.

It's also possible that when Boruto leaves Konoha, he will join Kara, just as Itachi decided to join Akatsuki. If that's the case, Boruto might be able to dig up a lot of important information about Kara, and then someday inform Konoha. With all the changes in Boruto, then what about the future events that are shown at the beginning of the series?

In the scene we see that Kawaki and Boruto both have the Karma seal, which is still a question from where Kawaki got the Karma seal considering he no longer has the Karma seal. Will Kawaki get the power of another Otsutsuki? Will Momoshiki give some of his Karma to Kawaki?

However, based on the dialogue shown - as well as the scene - it seems that Kawaki has "returned" to evil, by sending Naruto to another place (killed). And Boruto then said that he never thought that Kawaki would go that far. This then raises a big question.

What will happen to Boruto's Karma seal then? Will Boruto be able to control it? It could be, when Boruto decided to leave Konoha village he also learned how to control the power of Karma on him. So that Boruto can use it according to his needs. Like Naruto when he learned to control Kurama's chakra.

At first, Naruto was unable to control Kurama. The tremendous power arose because of Naruto's explosive emotions. However, as time went on and Naruto's abilities were getting honed, finally Naruto was able to control Kurama's chakra according to his needs. Even Naruto is good friends with the monsters in his body.

Momoshiki himself once said when he first met Boruto, that his blue eyes would bring great disaster. Boruto will lose the figure he loves as a result of those eyes. Although it is still not known for certain, it is not impossible that Momoshiki's prophecy has indeed been proven.

On the other hand, it may not be Kawaki who killed Naruto considering he once said that the world without Naruto would feel very empty. This shows how Kawaki and Naruto's relationship is really very deep, even though Kawaki is not his biological son.

Naruto cared about Kawaki, and Kawaki could feel it. Because of that, maybe it was Kawaki who tried to confront Boruto because he had done things that were out of line. The question of who is really the bad guy is still a big mystery. Even though there are some "hints" shown, but still everything still feels vague.

Some fans also think that maybe Boruto will have the same fate as Eren Yeager in the Attack on Titan story, where in the end he turns from the protagonist to the main villain. However, if you look at Masashi Kishimoto's track record from the original Naruto series, it is very unlikely that this will happen, although it would be something extraordinary if it did.
