First, in this arc we know that before an Angel becomes a companion to the god of destruction, they must experience "trials" or training for some time.
This is shown by Merus, who is an Angel who has just disguised himself as an elite member of the Galactic Patrol in order to complete this mission. Then the second fact is that an Angel will disappear when they violate the existing rules. This also happened to Merus who had to disappear because Moro stole his Ultra Instinct ability, the ability of the gods that should not be taught carelessly.
How can an Angel just disappear? Based on this, there is speculation that they originate from a very strong energy, a divine energy. Maybe this is the reason why Angels are different from other creatures and live on different planets or places. Because it comes from a powerful energy, so it makes sense that later the Grand Priest or Grand Minister could find out that Merus "disappeared."
