The latest chapter of the manga Boruto: Naruto Next Generations features many interesting events. Besides featuring a new character who is Eida's younger brother named Daemon, this chapter also reveals the possibility of Kawaki getting his newest power someday. It was also revealed that someone had personal plans, and that he was currently on Konoha's side. He is Amado, the traitorous scientist Kara who is now in the stronghold of Boruto and his friends.
It is revealed that Amado has other plans when he offers to help Kawaki with a new power of reactivated Karma. Amado said that if he revived the Karma in Kawaki's body, it would become Kawaki's new strength and could help him protect Naruto, who had lost Kurama. But Kawaki refused because it was a dangerous act. Amado insists that Kawaki must be willing to do so because new powers are currently needed.
Amado also said that it was unlikely that Isshiki would also come back to cause trouble, because Isshiki had been completely defeated by Naruto cs in the previous fight. But Kawaki still doesn't want to take the risk and decides to leave Amado's lab in anger. Seeing Amado seem to be forcing his will on Kawaki, made Sumire who overheard their conversation worried.

Currently Sumire is in charge of being Amado's assistant and helping with all the preparations the professor needs. However, Sumire, who is very worried about Kawaki and the safety of the village, decides to ask Amado about the purpose of forcing Kawaki to revive Karma. Hearing that question, made Amado amused and began to suspect Sumire, he thought the girl seemed to be a spy ordered by Shikamaru to monitor his movements while in Konoha.
But when Sumire heard the accusations she didn't seem to care and again asked the same thing about the karma in Kawaki's body. Seeing Sumire's expression, Amado looked annoyed and said if Sumire could stay still any longer, then he would get important information. Unfortunately it was not done by Sumire and kept asking the same thing. At the end of the chapter, Amado tells Sumire that the girl turned out to be "stupid" for not being able to take advantage of the situation properly.
Seeing Amado's reaction to Sumire, it seemed that he did have a plan that was still not revealed. Amado is indeed one of the characters who keep the most mysteries, even Shikamaru from the beginning until now has hesitated to trust the man. It seems that soon there will be a new surprise that will be made by Amado. Whether it will be profitable for Konoha or not, but Konoha seems to have to be more wary of people like Amado so as not to take the wrong path.
