The manga series Boruto: Naruto Next Generation is back with the latest chapter which was officially released a few days ago. In this latest chapter, we don't see any dangerous and tense actions from Naruto, Sasuke, or Boruto. However, something interesting is on display that might open up opportunities for what the future holds.
Broadly speaking, chapter 58 presents a moment where Team 7 and Kawaki train together. As we all know, Boruto and Naruto must now prepare to face a new threat that will come to Konoha. The threats are Code and Eida too – although they still don't know about Code involving Eida in her mission.
Based on the story, it can be assumed that the other Team 7 – Mitsuki and Sarada – already know about Code and what plans will be made to transfer Karma into Code's body. Since they didn't know how strong Code was, they finally decided to train. However, it seemed that the training methods that Team 7 and Kawaki wanted were different.
Sarada wants Team 7 to practice basic techniques, such as chakra control. However, Kawaki thought that it was pointless. Kawaki prefers to train seriously, which means they fight for real. In that moment Kawaki is shown attacking Mitsuki and Sarada. Mitsuki can easily provide resistance, but not with Sarada.

His power level was far different from Kawaki's. Luckily Boruto was able to stop the fight. Seeing this moment, an interesting speculation arose about Sarada, namely that there was a possibility that Sarada died while trying to save Konoha from Kawaki. Geeks of course already know about the flashforward moment where Boruto fought Kawaki.
Kawaki is suspected of destroying Konoha. And Kawaki is also thought to be the villain who caused all of that – although there might be a twist where Boruto is the one doing it. We see how Boruto fights Kawaki, trying to stop all the madness that is happening. However, we don't know who won between them.
On the other hand, we also don't know what happened before that moment. Masashi Kishimoto did not reveal clearly the moment that occurred before Kawaki and Boruto met on top of the Konoha ruins. We only see Konoha in ruins, and Kawaki trying to send Boruto to where Naruto (aka the seventh Hokage) is.
This is the basis for this speculation. Seeing that Kawaki didn't hesitate to attack Mitsuki and Sarada, it gave rise to a theory that there was a possibility that Mitsuki and Sarada were killed while they were trying to protect Konoha and trying to stop Kawaki. Kawaki's strength at that time was truly unstoppable. Mitsuki and Sarada are powerless against Kawaki.

Seeing how Kawaki didn't hesitate to attack Sarada, plus Kawaki who wanted to be strong and never wanted to depend on others, it seemed reasonable that in that future moment Kawaki would kill Sarada.
