Akatsuki is an organization that was born long before Naruto existed. This organization became one of the plots that made the Shinobi world during the Naruto era quite chaotic. This group consists of several dangerous people such as Pain, Kisame, Sasori, and others. Most members of the group are fugitive ninja from various villages, which is why they belong to a group that is very easy to kill others just to carry out evil plans. But even though they were the biggest criminal group in the Naruto era, Akatsuki had several members who eventually became traitors to the organization. 1. Orochimaru
When Orochimaru first left Konoha, he joined Akatsuki and partnered with Sasori. Both of these people have quite cunning traits and are hard to predict. They both have bodies that have been modified only to attain perfect strength. Orochimaru was originally a fairly loyal member.
But when he found out that Itachi also joined Akatsuki, Orochimaru changed and really wanted to get Itachi's young and strong body. Orochimaru really wanted the Sharingan owned by Itachi. He believed that with the Sharingan he would have great power. Unfortunately the plan to steal Itachi's body failed and made Orochimaru out of Akatsuki. Orochimaru realized that he and Akatsuki were not compatible and chose to steal a power similar to Itachi's by targeting Sasuke's body.
2. Sasori
Sasori is the former best shinobi from Sunagakure. He is a master of the Kugutsu technique, a technique originating from the village of Suna that relies on puppets as weapons. When Sasori first entered Akatsuki, he was paired with Orochimaru because he had more or less the same nature. But when Orochimaru betrayed, he also felt he had a responsibility and finally made Kabuto a spy who always clung to Orochimaru.
Unfortunately the plan has been smelled by Orochimaru and finally the strategy that has been prepared by Sasori failed. At the beginning of the Naruto Shippuden series, Sasori became a formidable opponent for group 7. Sasori faced Sakura and her own grandmother named Chio from Sunagakure. The fight against Sasori made the traitor ninja regret and understand the true meaning of life. That's why at the last second, Sasori leaked the information he already knew about Orochimaru and Akatsuki to Sakura and the late Grandma Chiyo.

3. Nagato (Pain)
Nagato, Yahiko, and Konan were the first founders of Akatsuki and the best students the late Jiraiya had ever had. The three of them were originally very good ninja and idolized peace as the late Jiraiya taught them. However, because the trio's struggle was very hard and found various forms of betrayal when Akatsuki was first formed, Nagato finally became evil after the killing of Yahiko. Since then Nagato has taken the pseudonym Pain and made Akatsuki a criminal organization in the Naruto era.
During the attack on Konoha, Pain almost killed everyone including Kakashi. However, after conferring with Naruto for a long time, Nagato realized that his actions had been wrong and had made the situation even more chaotic. Finally he chose to change and revive all the people who were killed in the village of Konoha. From then on he turned into a good person and died happily.
4. Konan
Konan is a loyal friend accompanying Nagato and Yahiko. She is a woman who is skilled in using paper jutsu and can make anything from paper. When Nagato chose to be kind, Konan also changed and betrayed Akatsuki. The rest of his life he used to guard the corpses of his two friends in a hidden area.
Unfortunately Konan had died after fighting to the death with Obito who insisted on taking Nagato's Rinnegan eyes. Konan and Obito's fight became one of the epic moments before the Fourth Ninja World War, because Obito took the Rinnegan to win the great war he made with Kabuto.
5. Itachi Uchiha
Itachi is Sasuke's older brother and is one of the best ninja Konoha and the Uchiha clan have ever had. Unfortunately he has a fairly complicated story, Itachi since the beginning of the Naruto series is the older brother that Sasuke really wants to kill because of his actions that have killed all members of the Uchiha clan. The massacre carried out by Itachi only left Sasuke alone. After successfully killing all members of his clan, Itachi decided to be part of Akatsuki until the end of his life.
