And after being a mystery for so long, we finally get a definite answer from Oda Sensei regarding Roger's sword. The information comes from the latest Vivre Card which was released a few days ago.
There are two interesting things that appear in the Vivre Card related to Roger's sword. The first, Roger's sword is Cutlass type or a sword with a short blade size. The sword itself was confirmed to be one of the 12 swords with the supreme level. Roger also often coats his sword with Haki.
If you look at the story of his past, Roger probably got the sword in the middle of his adventure. He used it throughout his adventure to Laugh Tale, until he was about to be executed by the World Government. The second interesting fact is that Roger's sword is named 'Ace.'
