Of the various weapons that have appeared, it is the sword type weapon that is often used by several important characters in Dragon Ball. 1. Katana belongs to Yajirobe
If you only follow the Dragon Ball Super series, don't get me wrong with this Yajirobe character, he is a ronin who has a very sharp katana.
Previously in the Dragon Ball Z series, Yajirobe had killed Cymbal, the son of King Piccolo using this sword.

2. Brave Sword
This sword is the first sword used by Future Trunks. In the Dragon Ball Z series, this sword first appeared and was used by Future Trunks during the Android Saga, against Future Android 18 with Future Gohan. This sword is also used by Future Trunks to split Frieza into two parts.
Actually this sword belongs to someone named Tapion who appeared during the movie Dragon Ball Z: Wrath of the Dragon. In the end, the sword was given to Future Trunks during the last part of the film.
3. Z Sword
Z Sword or also called Zeta Sword is a very heavy and ancient sword. This sword appeared during the Buu Saga, at which time Gohan was about to train with Old Kai.
At that time the Z Sword was still stuck in the ground and was very difficult to remove. Goku and Gohan struggled to lift and release the Z Sword from the ground. With training by Old Kai, Gohan managed to let go and lift the Z Sword. Unfortunately, the Z Sword was destroyed when Gohan tried to use it to cleave the world's hardest metal created by Supreme Kai.
In the Dragon Ball Super series, the Z Sword was also used by Future Trunks to practice swordsmanship against Future Dabura and Future Babidi. When Future Trunks fought Future Dabura using the sword, the Z Sword was hit by the saliva from Future Dabura which eventually turned to stone, fell and broke.

4. Future Trunks Sword in Dragon Ball Super
Well, the swords used in the Dragon Ball Super series by Future Trunks are not Z Sword and Brave Sword but a new, unknown sword. This sword has a hilt that is covered in green leather and has a silver sword holder and the tip is tapered upwards.
In addition, Future Trunks' sword also has a red sheath.
In the Dragon Ball Super series, this sword was broken against Zamasu, but eventually became an energy sword and was successfully used to defeat Merged Zamasu. Most likely a new Dragon Ball weapon will appear again to arm Future Trunks due to his broken sword.
5. Azure Dragon Sword
The Dragon Ball weapon in the form of a sword is the Azure Dragon Sword. This sword belonged to Yamcha at the beginning of the Dragon Ball series. This sword is curved and used by Yamcha against Goku as a child. This sword is also able to compete against the Power Pole, a stick-type weapon that Goku often used as a child.
